Some tree-meshes, placed by foliage (paint or spawn), it’s moving … litteraly changes position when point of view move out away from them.
I tried configure these meshes in everyway (in foliage-settings and mesh properies) in order to be similar to others tree which doesn’t do this odd behavior… but nothing fix this.
Are you sure they are moving? It could be just not rendering as you move away from them. The process is culling.

both groups, left trees and right trees, are foliage painted … and have same settings, even so, the right group of trees work fine… but the left group, as you can see, has this bad behaviour
This thing happened to me but with the textures, idk exactly but it had something to do with the normal of the textures. But as these both groups have the same settings. I would suggest you to first import the tree foliage into a fresh project and then try to populate it with same tree assets.

The strange facts is … I can’t find nothing in the web relating this same issue-problem, it seems like I’m the first to meet this issue.
ok, so I tried to recreate this thing for past day and it didn’t happen to me even after tinkering with all the settings and even the bps for meshes. I really can’t think of anything I am really sorry as it didn’t happen for me even after iterating through so many variations.
Very very many thanks ! Don’t worry, I think that the unique solution is: not use that trees pack (that is from EpicGame market, forestal, somthing, free) … because with others trees-pack it works perfectly.

i would say the solution stated previously is obviously not a solution, telling people to not use what is causing the problem, for me the leaves would move away from the branches and change sizes, this wouldn’t happen if i added it to the level as a normal static mesh and would only happen when adding via foliage paint/foliageinstancedstaticmesh also this only seemed to happen on certain levels of mine which was v odd. What seemed to work for me was placing more foliage in different locations eventually it stopped trying to merge all the leaves
