Mesh light flickering only when rendering on skeletal mesh with detailed grooms

I’m having some strange random light flickering issues when rendering on a skeletal mesh with lots of detailed fur grooms. The issue doesn’t present in live mode in the viewport but only when rendering via MRQ. I’ve input cvar’s to aid MRQ with groom rendering and tried some other ideas but am stuck. Anyone have any solutions?

You can see the strange light flickering on the bottom half of the lions head in the image still above.
