Merge actors, but no collision?

i can merge actors. the process doesn’t seem to include the collision with it that i generated from 3ds max using the UBX/UCX pipeline.

is there a way?

I know I already responded to your post on the forums, but for coverage I’ve reposted my answer here.

More than likely this is just a limitation of the system as it is. It is still an experimental feature so there are limitations or other issues that can be present.

You can always export the mesh, create the collision mesh and reimport or you can use the built in collision options in the Static Mesh Editor.

Quickly testing this I can confirm this is wiping any collision information, which it should since it’s saving a newly created asset and the possibility of creating a concave collision hull would be more likely. It would be better to use the Auto-Convex collision in the Static Mesh Editor or create custom collision in an external program.

It seems that in 4.10.1 preview “merge physics data” takes the into the existen collision mesh(es)

I think it only mash up existent collision mesh(es), so far I have no problem with it
