Memory usage when importing fbx files

Hello,
Adding fbx format files to the UE content browser by dragging and dropping will result in an extreme increase in memory usage.
The phenomenon is as follows.

  • Target file: 300MB fbx file(with
    No texture, Vertices : 60,000,600, Faces : 20,000,200)
  • Memory usage: 32GB

In addition to the above, the application crashes when trying to import a target file of about 1GB.
If anyone knows a similar phenomenon or solution, please let us know.

I m having the same issue in Ue 5.1, have you found a fix?
