Memory Skyrocket for unknown reason

I’ve been working on a Battle Royale map which i had to scrap and restart about 3 times now, once due to the engine freezing forever on startup, then the 2nd time the game would never start, but now the 3rd one which uses almost all the locations pasted in from the 2nd project, but after importing one of the points of interest i launched a session i noticed the memory had skyrocketed and the render distance is just weird, ive turned off and turned back on streaming but that didnt help and ive ran a memory calculation but the math doesnt seem to add up to what could be causing it. The memory is very intense at points of interest understandably its also very high when i travel far away from the island. any tips?
