Summary

So first I publish to private version then launch the game to memory check it. When I hit memory check it always makes me publish another private version even if I just did seconds before and this is where the problem starts. After the private version finishes my fortnite game has to reload and it takes a few minutes but after it is reloaded it says I’m disconnected from UEFN every time. Then back in UEFN I see it trying to memory check on an infinite loop.

Steps to Reproduce

Launch the game and try to run a memory check. Publish a private version when it asks you to.

Expected Result

The memory check will complete and the map can be published through the creator portal

Observed Result

You will be stuck with it trying to memory check forever and it will say “editor not connected” in the fortnite session.

Same for me… any work around?

I tried follwing steps:
While it was on memory calculation… ended session, started new session… and it joined and continued the memory calculation… .it worked…

But you can submit the update on create.fortnite.com

Its so anoying

I find its better to change launch settings to not start a game on launch but go straight to edit mode.
Launch a session,
then do the Project>Launch Memory Calculation
it will create a Private Upload
when it gives you the Island Code don’t click to continue
wait for fortnite to reload and you can see the player respawn into edit mode
then click to continue the memory calculation
