MediaPlayer will play mp4 on Nvidia system but not AMD system?

I have a project I moved to a computer with more RAM.

The initial computer has an Intel processor and and GTX 2080S

The Computer I moved it to has and Amd processor and GPU.

On the Amd machine I could only get the Webm codec to work but on the Nvidia system most formats would work.

How can I get mp4 to work on the new computer? Or is this impossible because of the Amd chips and OpenGl?

Have you found a fix? I’m getting the same issue, have never seen the media player logo red before
