Media texture stops playing when level is played

hey all, so I’ve set up a material that uses an MP4 to drive the alpha, and it works great while the media player and media player texture windows are open and the level isn’t being played, but when I press play the video stops and the shader breaks, then I have to reconnect everything, how do I keep it playing/ just keep that mp4 as part of the shader?
