Media Texture Mips

Is it possible to have mip-mapping on media textures? I have some underwater caustics imported from Substance as a 256x256 media texture, but the media texture doesn’t seem to allow any mip mapping. Not only does the movie texture look impossibly detailed in the background, but if I have access to a mip bias on the media texture sampler itself, I can use a blurrier mip map based off of the depth of the caustics being cast beneath the water.
