Media Player Webcam Not Working

I’m trying to use a Canon camera with EOS Webcam Utility to bring a live video into composure to do a live chroma key.

I watched some tutorials on bringing in the video into a Media Player. I tried selecting the webcam in the list of inputs in the media player but the video feed doesn’t show up in the preview window. I’ve tried unplugging and re-plugging in the camera and nothing seems to get it to work. I know the webcam works as I can see the video if I open the camera app on my computer.

Does anyone know how to get it to work or if there another way to bring a live video feed into the composite plugin?

Sounds like UE5 is having some issues with webcam-type cameras.

Same here.

-Webcam via USB
-Webcam - Snap Cam workaround
-Canon with EOS Webcam Utility

Nothing works.
Why ?

I have tried same setting in 4.27, and it works.
It seem to be a built-in Ue5 Media Player bug.

same issue
I recorded a ) in chinese.

Any update on this? I’m trying to get an NDI feed from Dragonframe to show up in Media Player but I can’t even get a webcam that I’m testing to show up. Nothing works. I’m on Mac and it seems like it’s a permissions issue. Like, the permissions box just isn’t popping up in Unreal to allow video.
