On my editor I added a river and a lake via their blueprints in Fortnite/Environment/Water but on Fortnite the textures doesn’t appear but you can swim as if water was present.
Same problem here (using the same water). Only happens in performance mode, and seems to be related to the ExponentialHeightFog. Any one has any more info?
Made some landscape, added some VK Waterbody Swimming Pools. This generated a WaterZone box around them.
Later on I added a huge VK Waterbody Ocean C and set the spline component at the centre of it to circle around the outside of the landscape with the pools.
Where the ocean spline passes inside the swimming pools waterzone box, that region when in a launched session has no visible ocean surface but player can swim.
Possibly the waterzone of one the two different types of VK waterbodies is interfering with the other.
I had the same issue myself after one of the updates. I was able to fix it by just copying the rivers, lakes, and ocean in place, then deleting the originals. My guess is that the old ones just got corrupted. I did also notice though that several different rivers had the exact same name in the outliner, which could have caused conflicts. So maybe it could be fixed by renaming them instead of copying and deleting.
I HAVE THE SOLUTION. The same thing happened for me, first delete the ocean. then create a new level (top left under the teb files) and copy the ocean and water volume from the new level and paste it to ur project. Worked for me, hopes this helps <3
