Maya Xgen Alembic to UE5, Hair color patches?

Hey everyone! I’m following this tutorial on getting Xgen alembic files added into UE5 (How to Make Custom Hair in UNREAL ENGINE 5 - YouTube) and I keep running into this issue where my fur has these strange different colored patches instead of all being a nice uniform color. It renders correct in Maya Redshift but I’m not 100% sure if this is a Maya export/xgen issue or a UE5 issue. Is there any way to fix this patchy color?
