Maya to Unreal Rendering Issues, please help.

I’m testing out a model and trying to export it from Maya to Unreal, but I’m having some textures issues.

  1. The character model isn’t properly smoothed when importing into UE4.
  2. The surface toon shader doesn’t get exported on the model when in UE4.

Any ideas how to fix this?

  1. Make sure your edges are properly smoothed/hardened in maya.

  2. You’ll have to create a material in UE4 that will do what you want.
