I’m attempting to set up a new vector Material Parameter track to animate a parameter in a material and I just can not get it to animate my material instance. I didn’t have any trouble in UDK, but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong in Unreal 4. And I can not for the life of me find any tutorials on this, can someone help me out please?
It wont even animate when I scrub the timeline back and forth.

That’s very helpful, thanks, But 1 issue remains ,
Seems that only the material on the mesh that was selected is animated (which seems to be set in stone at the time of adding the new Empty group), while I need every mesh in the level with that material applied to be effected . including future added mesh.
is there something like an MIC actor we can drop in the level ?
