Materials being destroyed after 4.13.1 hotfix

After applying the 4.13.1 hotfix some of my materials are being destroyed, with engine nodes such as sin and other pieces being removed from the graph. I have restored from several earlier backups but the behaviour is always the same.

After restoring from a backup the thumbnail of the material looks correct, but as soon as I interact with the material in any way it displays the results of the broken node graph.

Here are two of the broken backups after being destroyed:

The inner space should be full of nodes.

  1. Is there a way to revert to 4.13.0 or is the hotfix now the default download?
  2. Is there a known workaround for this?

Can you provide me steps so I can reproduce this on my end?

Whenever we roll out a hotfix for the engine users are required to upgrade to that version when launching from the Epic Games Launcher (binary build). If you want to have greater control over your engine version and don’t have any specific issues that the hotifx directly addresses in your own project, you can download the source build from Github and stay on 4.13.0

In regards to the issue you are experiencing, I do not have information or any reason for this to be happening as I have not heard or experienced this issue before.
