Material texture scale is not working

Hi all,
I am rather new to UE4 and currently trying to work out a render with a model based from ArchiCAD.
The way i exported the model is from ArchiCAD to 3ds> 3ds to FBX using autodesk FBX converter.

When i imported the model into UE4, i tried substituting a couple of material with the UE materials. However, the only thing that is picking up is the colour properties of the material. everytime i drag the texture slider, it is only making the colour brighter or darker but the texture is still not showing. I placed a primitive UE4 chair in and applied it with the same material and it reflects the slider scale changes.

Below is the screenshot of what i’ve been trying out.

Note that both ground moss material are the same. Any help would be appreciated. In case anyone is asking about UV, the mesh editor is not reflecting any UV map when i press on the UV button and my guess is archicad modelling is just not into UV maps.

Got it sorted out by reexporting it in OBJ and creating a UV map . However by doing so, some of the windowpanes are one sided, while some are totally missing now. (I’m guessing its an export problem?)
So headache =(

The one sided part of that can be fixed by setting the material property of the window pane to “two sided”. It is expensive from a game engine, point of view, but useful for 2D objects. My guess is that the other objects are simply facing the wrong way, and now appear gone, but check the object out in the matrerial editor to verify it.
