Material not connected to mesh when FBX is overwritten

Hi all,

Scenario: I already have a hair.fbx in Unreal, I assign a new material in Maya, export/overwrite hair.fbx in the Content folder. When it refreshes in Unreal the new material assigned in Maya does not come in.

I have an example image of what this looks like.

I would force reload the material to see if that works. Sometimes automatic things just dont work right. Hair looks great BTW.
