Hi, I’m trying to figure out whether to make a particle or material for a character that I have to model.
The character floats on a tail like this, which goes from energy (solid) to phantom (gas).
I tried to make a particle tail like in this CGHow tutorial and it turns out fine, but I don’t know how to animate that tail or if I will have as much control as with a mesh + rig + material.
Could you help me or give me an advice on how to solve this to have control over the tail, ideally with rigg and that results in something similar to the reference?
