material arrays

A while back I followed some information from various locations to create a blueprint that on click while looking at an object cycled through materials stored in an array. I cant seem to find that info anymore.

I have created a blueprint that draws simple box textures on the HUD which when clicked changes vector value of objects materials but i want it to change the WHOLE material when i click the square not just a vector value.

does anyone have a similar set up? or some links to relevant information.

Then use set material?

when i used set material, it wouldn’t use the materials. maybe i need to read on it more but when i tried to replace what i was doing with that, it wouldnt work.

so yeah, i found a tutorial that explained set material a bit better, think i was using it wrong. should be able to slot it into what i already have.
