material add number

Hello

i have a problem , iam following a tutorial but he does something off screen wich i cant see and i dont know how to do it.
he adds a number in the material , i feel stupid for asking but i tried looking but i really couldnt find it
please help

are you wanting to know how the 2 got there? its a constant. hold down the ‘1’ number key and LMB click on graph to create. you can edit it to show the value of two in the details panel of Material Expression Constant.
