Summary
I created a 32-player Zone Wars map in Fortnite, and after the latest game update it started experiencing matchmaking issues that weren’t happening before.
For example, I join a public match and everything works correctly. My followers are able to join the map without any problems, but after we’ve been playing for a while, for some reason, even though the match has not reached the 32-player limit, new players can no longer join that same session. Instead, despite the match being set to public, they are placed into a separate lobby, creating a second match instead of joining the existing one.
For example, if I’m in a match with 15 players and 5 more players try to join, instead of ending up with a single 20-player match, the game creates two separate matches: the original one with 15 players and a new one with 5 players. After that, no one else is able to join the original match with the 15 players.
This was not happening before and only started after the recent Fortnite updates. Because of that, I don’t believe the issue is related to my map’s settings.

Matchmaking
Steps to Reproduce
To reproduce the issue, several players need to join the map through public matchmaking and play for a while. After that, additional players should try to join. Instead of being placed into the same lobby, they are sent to a different one, creating two separate matches with only a few players each instead of filling up the existing match.
Expected Result
Two separate matches will be created instead of a single match.
Observed Result
Two separate matches will be created instead of a single match.
