Summary

When interacting with matchmaking portals, it now asks the player to ready up (even though they are not in a party) and then has an instant matchmaking error.

New Information someone brough up to me: The bug only occurs when attempting to Requeue into the same map you are currently in. Which unfortunately in my case is pretty critical.

Fortnite Matchmaking Issues

Investigating - Following further investigation, we’ve identified additional matchmaking disruptions in Fortnite.

We’re continuing to investigate and will share updates as we have them.

A new UEFN & Fortnite build was released this morning (at 8:22am ET), this new hotfix fixed this issue for us in 6352-5011-0111

I also tried your island @Paperly 0148-0322-5437 and the matchmaking portals worked for me there as well.

As of the update this morning, the issue now occurs only half the time. Nearly half the time players are still unable to Requeue.

error always occurs in parties of 2 or more now, works fine in solos. Still very crippling for games like Piece Control 2v2

One more thing of note: still works when queueing into different games, only breaks when queueing into the same map code you are already playing.

FORT-925996 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 36.10.

Apologies for the confusion. The issue is still present for parties larger than one, and that will be fixed in a future update.
