Summary
Hello Epic / Fortnite Team,
I am experiencing a persistent issue that prevents me from participacing in ANY Fortnite tournament.
Whenever I try to join a tournament, I receive the error: Matchmaking Error 2: You are not eligible to play this content.
This happens every time, across multiple days and multiple tournaments. Important: My account meets all tournament requirements:
- Account level: over 2500
- MFA (2FA) enabled
- Parental controls disabled
- Tournmament EULA accepted
- Ranked Battle Royale: Silver I (Solo and Duo)
- I can play Ranked Battle Royale normally
- Friends with similar ranks can join the same tournaments without issues
- No in-game message indicates that my account is restricted or banned
What I have already tried (multiple times):
- Restarting Fortnite ans PC
- Logging out of all Epic sessions and logging in again
- DNS reset / cache clearing
- region change
- Full Fortnite reinstallation
- waiting multiple days between attemps
- writing reports to Epic an Fortnite Support
The issue ONLY occurs when trying to join tournaments.,
Becaus this affects Competitive play only, I suspect one of the following:
- Competitive eligibility desync
- Tournament playlist ticket corruption
- Account - level tournament flag isue (not visible to the user)
I already contacted Epic Player Support, but was instructed to report this issue in-game / via forums.
I kindly ask for this issue to be reviewed by the Competitive / Fortnite backend team and for my tournament eligibility to be manually checkes or resynced.

Steps to Reproduce
- Log into Fortnite with my Epic Games account.
- Open the Competitive tab.
- Select any Ranked Cup or Solo / Duo tournament.
- Click PLay / Join Tournament
- Matchmaking starts and immediately fails.
Expected Result
The game should sucessfully place my account into the tournament matchmaking and allow me to play the match.
Observed Result
Matchmaking fails with the error message: “Matchmaking Error (2): You are not eligibility to play this content.”
This happens in every tournament, on different days, while other players con join normally.

- normal ranked and public matches work without issue
This problem has persisted across multiple tournaments and multiple days.
I believe this may be a backend eligibility desync, tournament playlist ticket issue, or an incorrect competitive flag on my account.
