I’ve been seeing this error on my map since publishing an update on 8/12/2023.
My player numbers are way down, so I have a feeling it’s affecting my players as well.

Island Code is 2057-0506-7371, but since experiencing this issue, I rolled back to a prior private island code because it was clear something terrible was happening to our player numbers. Private island codes where I saw the issue, before rolling back were 7507-5945-1901 and 3358-2284-2680.
Of course, I don’t know if players were experiencing this issue or if it was a local problem (although a separate account, on a separate PC in our office had the same problem).
Is it even possible for changes made to an island to cause an issue like this? I’d love to push the new version again, but I’m scared of driving all our players away.
One more piece of data is that I saw two other UEFN devs report this issue on the official Discord, and they’re both located in Japan, as am I. So could this be a region-related thing? In that case, also more likely to be matchmaking services, not something map-related, I’d assume, but it’s very hard to know.

We couldn’t tell whether the problem had anything to do with a setting in our map, but it does seem like it’s not effecting us now.
