Matching exposure in editor view and sequence render

I am working on a multi camera cinematic in the sequencer which I am trying to render out to a movie. Over all, I am having a very hard time understanding the logic of the final look of the image both in the viewport and in the rendered movie. Can someone elucidate how all the following interact?
-1- Project Settings → Rendering → Auto Exposure and Auto Exposure Bias
-2- Viewer → Game Settings
-3- Viewer → Game View
-4- Cameras Post Process Exposure and Compensation
-5- Viewer → Show → PP → Eye Adaptation off
-6- Render in viewer versus movie render in the sequencer
