Check the ue4 version there is the problem when you load this project on 4.7 everything is working fine, if you try to working with 4.9 you gonna see many dodge thinks doesnt work
yes but I have in my computer version 4.10.1, 4.9.2 and 4.8.3. Where to get older version like 4.7???
ok, don’t open that project levels in unreal 4.8.3, next have to try 4.7.6. This is so <snip>.
now it open new match project in unreal 4.7.6 but when level is done it appears that text Excellent etc, but then nothing happens game crashes and when i try to open 4.9.2 version in 4.7.6 it doesn’t open hole project. I would think that unreal is poor engine in 2d games
i dont know about that br0 but i dont have any crush (when you try one project from another version ofcourse you gonna have many crushes) just you need to do the same like a video , now i am stuck with save and load when you pass one level i will like to save it automatic and then when i press the button in main menu LOAD GAME to going to saved level
ok, I have made this game now with unreal 4.7.6 and works quite well. When level passd text will shown, Excellent or try again, and when button pressed it goes to main menu
did you find the way how to increase the TEXT size? of score i think you must recreate it again just copy paste the blueprints and after you can use your own sizes
ok, i don’t recreate it anymore, if it can’t be scale then it will be smaller. Strange if you can’t scale normal widget element
I ended up just giving up on this one, considering it a waste of money that I won’t be getting back. The UnrealMatch3 template is more robust and actually functions. I don’t agree with downscaling to an earlier version of the engine just to run some purchased content that is supposed to be continually updated to work with the most recent version of the engine (per the guidelines for the Unreal Marketplace). We shouldn’t be finding workarounds, the creator needs to update his content. Plain and simple.
Sorry for the long absence. Life has been hectic. If you are having problems with 4.8+ Endgame widget, go into the EndGame Widget Blueprint. Inside the event graph, remove the Initial Set-up section. This should enable the widget to appear as intended.

Hi! I noticed your package: Match 3 Blueprint, and it looks great! Before purchase, I’d like to confirm a few things:
What I wanna do is something like “puzzle& dragon” : below is match3, and above is fighting scene. What’s more , the fighting scene is a long corridor, so I need to move the camera along left-right.
If it’s unity, it’d be easy: 2 cameras, each occupying 1 screen. But for UE4, it’s gotta be 1 camera. So:
- Is it possible to add other stuff in the Match 3 camera?
- Is it possible to move the camera, and let the match3 & background stay static according to the camera? So it’s only the upper part relatively moving, not including the lower part.

I want the various game pieces to have different score values. I tried to figure it out myself, but I’m really more the creative type, so I’m having a hard time comprehending logical processes.
