I’m curious as to which is better on memory: Having a simple master substance material that I plug my textures into, or simply creating a new material for each asset. Or do they work out to basically the same thing.
I’m considering a very simple material - just plugging in my imported textures. Maybe a multiply node or two.
At the end of the day, I figure they are about the same amount of effort to set up - so I’m wondering which is the better practice.
