I will add this thing has always been buggy to hell especially at game start. I have never used this feature in about a yr and instead use the compass device thats on the snippets repository its abit extra work maybe 20 mins but works everytime ect.
I did request just a normal objective pulse device so long ago and this was never added 
would be a big help as i think a lot of the issues are all the extra stuff attached to the map indicator/beacon ect
