Hello everyone. I’m currently working on a citybuilding game in VR. I’ve started this project without VR and later decided to make it in VR.
I’m using a grid-system for the placement of the buildings, and the buildings spawn on top of my mouse & get snapped to the closest anchorpoint.
How do I make my motioncontroller act as the mousepointer/ or technically “control” my mouse pointer with my controller? Because right now I would have to position the mousepointer in the middle of the game while testing, so that I can move around with my head and get the buildings to snap to different points.
A good example of what I’m trying to achieve is a game called ‘Little cities’ where you aim at the place you want the building to snap to.
Hoping this makes sense as I’m not the best at explaining things.
(I’m also a complete beginner to UE and this is my first project, so if anyone decides to explain what to do, try to explain it in a way a noobie can understand haha)
