Make Volumetric Mesh/Mat independant from Exponential Height fog settings ?

Hello everyone,

I have an mesh that has a material set to volumetric in my scene to create a dark gradient. It follows the rules of start distance etc of the exponential height fog actor, except I don’t want to. I want it to never fade away no matter how close I am or far I am from the volume. How could I achieve this ?

If you’re in 5.3, you can use a heterogenous volume actor with a volumetric material assigned to it. In earlier versions of the editor you’ll have to make your own raymarching function inside of a material.
