Ok i’ve just looked now and i can’t see any cycle option and no user options - event or function tab into the Environnement Light Rig settings. Seems great for static light. I can figured out how you can resolve the issue with this one.
I thought we could do something with the color grading feature, like with the fade in and the fade out option into the user options but we can’t do this.
Also i tried to enable/disable the Day Sequence device on timer but it doesn’t work…even when i go to the outliner and click on the eye icon to hide it in the viewer, it doesn’t…feels like the device is broken… 
I think that the fade in/fade out functions with a color grading filter could be a great and simple solution…but i can’t find any sort of device like this…
