[MAJOR] Random Assets and Architecture Getting Deleted After Hours of Work in Live Edit

Summary

I will be working in a Live Edit session for a few hours placing Assets and Architecture around my Map, but in the background they won’t sync to the UEFN Editor and once I start and End a Game or Push changes a massive amount of Assets and Architecture will be deleted at random, mostly props and Building Ledges. It’s really demotivating and was hoping there was a fix.

Steps to Reproduce

-Have the UEFN and Live Edit Sessions remain Synced at all times.

Expected Result

-Will Place Assets and Architecture In Live Edit For a Few Hours
-Assets and Architecture Should Sync with The UEFN Editor
-The Assets and Architecture won’t get removed after a Game Test or Pushed Changed

Observed Result

-Will Place Assets and Architecture In Live Edit For a Few Hours
-Assets and Architecture Don’t Sync or Randomly Delete with The UEFN Editor
-Assets and Architecture get removed after a Game Test or Pushed Changed

I experienced something like this months ago and i did report it

I was working with a friend and they was in the session placing things and doing stuff with the phone tool and i was writing verse.

If i built verse code without pushing changes it would still be connected to the session but nothing would be saved

Unsure if your having something similar

Save/commit/push the changes often (multiple times during the live edit).
As soon as you notice items disappearing, close both Fortnite and UEFN.

I think you will find your items intact when you load a new session.

Fixed an issue where cutting and pasting wall or floor pieces left the old actor behind in UEFN.
Fixed some states failing to sync to UEFN when placing prop variants

In Live Edit ALWAYS make snapshots. This is due to global network transitions

I see that you have fixed this issue but i’m still having this issue where props disappear after push changes could you have a look on post and let me know if there is a way fix it PLZ. I have spent hours on making this and this issue have really demotivated me i hope you would find a way.

This issue seems to have been closed. and the original was opened a year ago.
Therefore, you are best off opening a new Bug report with a video of the problem.

If you can get logs for Fortnite, that’s great.

Only the Epic Engineer can fix this. My reports come from release notes
