[Major] Players Using Auto Clickers Causing Massive Lag In Input Queue

Summary

Having an issue where players in my game use auto clickers. When players use said auto clickers all players using input triggers have their events for clicking signaled up to multiple seconds after making the input (almost as if they’ve been queued) while the latency reported by the client seems to only be a little higher.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Add an input trigger / write a script that awaits input from a player / subscribes to input from a player.
  • Get somebody to use an auto clicker
  • Observe how delayed new inputs are
  • Turn off auto clicker
  • Issue goes away

Expected Result

For there to be some sort of server side throttling / consequences for using such tools.

Observed Result

Game becomes unplayable until auto clicker is shut off.
