When you have a name of a variable i did a int for testing and you press the tick you cannot then change the name using edit it always says the names taken

Steps to Reproduce
Create a widget with a variable
Press the pencil to edit the name and press the tick you will see it says name is taken
Expected Result
It should work if the name isnt taken but it always says its taken
Observed Result
Its broken
