As part of our ongoing efforts to support the growing Github community, on Monday July 29, we will begin steadily removing inactive accounts from the Epic Games GitHub organization. This gradual process means it may be weeks before some accounts see any changes.
As a reminder, inactive accounts are those that have not
- Logged in for 12 months
- Created a fork
- Regardless of whether it’s of UE directly or of another fork
- Submitted a pull request
You’re always welcome to rejoin once you’re ready to dive back into development—and we hope you do!
To reconnect your account to GitHub, visit your Epic Games account, remove the GitHub linking, then connect again to be reinvited. Info on linking your accounts can be found here.
