In 5.1 I could change the “Lumen Scene View Distance” under Lumen PostProcess but now in 5.2 no matter what the value is I don’t get any shadows in the background.
Why can’t I change the shadow distance?

you have to check in your sun… click in your directional light and active distance field shadows
