Lumen: Can't raise GI bounce + brightness

I am using Lumen for GI.
Exterior Shot, Sun Sky and Directional Light.

I am trying to lift the GI with Lumen.
No matter how crazy I raise the values inside the indirect illumination values, the GI bounce doesn’t seem to work or brighten the indirect illumination.

What could I possible miss here?
I checked all settings related to the indirect illumination.

I also wanted to mention.

  1. The indirect lighting intensity within the postprocess volume doesn’t react to any changes of the values.
  2. The indirect lighting intensity within the light source only works, if I increase the number x1000. But the shadow areas, are not affected and don’t get brighter.
  3. The indirect light intensity of the skylight, doesn’t show any affect

Thanks for any little info!

I don’t think the Indirect Light slider is working for skylights or directional lights at the moment. I’m assuming that’ll be in the final build though. From my testing only the other local light actors work with variable indirect lighting for now (Point, Spot, etc.). You could try and add some of those to your scene to get the bounces you’re after. Be careful of performance though, If they’re just for bounced light you could try them without shadows.

Bumping this old thread, does anyone have any idea how to increase GI bounces in Lumen, the Ceilings of my interior scenes are a little dark, usually increasing Indirect Lighting on lights fixes it but with Lumen it seems to have 0 effect.

yeah, I guess the issue is still the same. Not good.

I searching how decrease bounces in gi in lumen. I 5hink it have infinitive bounces. decreasing i sugest get more fps and better quality, less artifacts and flickering.
