LPV doesn't work while a subsurface profile or eye material is on screen

I know LPV is an old broken plugin but it really helps with full dynamic lighting. The problem is that once you get a character using subsurface profile or eye material on screen, the LPV effect stops, and come back once you move the camera to get this character offscreen. Is there some commands/cvars that can help with this problem?
