I love the ability that was added recently where you drag a texture into a mesh in the viewport and it creates a material with it. This helps make the editor more agile.
If we can have the same effect when you drag a texture into a material slot, that would help us do the same on meshes that cannot be seen in the viewport very easily (or at all)
