Low res shadow even after production build and 2k lightmap resolution

hey guys, im having a problem with low res shadow, even after i built the lighting, as you can see in the image attach, i already set the lightmap resolution to 2048, dedicate a full UV1 for it, and set the engine scalability to epic, yet i still get the low res shadow after building the light

anyone can help me on this one?

thanks in advance :slight_smile:

What type of lightsource are you using?

@kvgler
directional, stationary

How large is your mesh in question?

@Deathrey in 3dsmax i set it up like a normal wall heights 2 metres ish
is there any chance i might mess it up when importing to unreeal, im kinda stuck here, thatnks for your help

and also i fogot to mention that the tree where the shadow is from is actually an alpha card/plane, that shouldnt be a problem right?

What is happening here in your UV channel 1 ?

@Deathrey, its a part of the mesh, i have some trim on the bottom of the wall, thats not a problem
is there any factor that causing low quality shadow? other than the things i mentioned above?

@Deathrey
i think i found the setting that makes it looks good, but i dont know if this is right or not
i changed the Static Lightmass Level Scale in World Setting from 1 to 0.1
but it took much longer to build though
