Low Poly and low res looking in viewport on Mac M3 Ultra

Hi,

I have just recently started learning Unreal.
I am using a Mac Studio with M3 Ultra chip.
I have seen so many people use Mac with almost no issues or at least no the issue I am facing since I could not find anyone talking about it when I google my issue.
The issue that I have been facing and couldn’t find a solution for is that everything in Viewport looks like they are in their Low Poly mode. it also looks like that the roughness or bump map or displacement map is not working so the meshes are all look very low poly.
Anyway everything looks bad, haha

I am using Megascan/quixel assets.

Cinematic on viewport is turned on.
Nanite is on both on scene and objects.
Max texture size is on 4K, Mip Gen settings on textures does not help.
I have tried and changed a few other settings as well and none is helping.

I am wondering if anyone here know what is causing this issue and if this is a known issue and Mac and I should switch to Windows!

btw, I have tried both UE 5.6 and 5.7 . Getting the same result in both.

I would also like to know if Path racing is supported on Mac. I don’t see it in the View Mode options.

Here is an example of how the object look like in UE when I double click and open it vs how it should look like based on what I see in Fab/Quixel.

In UE:

How it should look like based on what I see in Fab.

After 10 times crashing when registering assets when open that gameplay level, I finally entered the game world map, Valley of the Ancient , on my mini M4pro 24G+512G , you would like to try run it on your M3 Ultra to see whether has the same looking as my video below:

@thor_hzf Thank you for the reply! I was giving up that no one uses Mac here haha
I downloaded the scene and it seems to be working perfectly fine! Attaching some screen shots below. So I don’t know if it has something to do with the project settings or it is something else.
But at least it seems like it has nothing to do with working with Mac!

I see all textures to be sharp and clear, meshes as well. I found some meshes looking lowly here and there but that can only be because they were made that way and maybe they were not supposed be close to camera or they are just fillers.
Looking fine to me:

Sorry I only can attach one image per post.
Here another good looking example:

And here one it looks low res. but again maybe the mesh is made like this and has nothing to do with viewport etc.
But I still don’t get it why things look bad in my own created file! :expressionless:

I want to add that today I tested this, exported some of the assets from the Ancient scene. Imported those to a clean scene. They look fine! in the same scene I imported the quixel/megascan individual items, they look bad.

I am very confused here but at least it shows that it has nothing to do with the scene/project settings.
