Its a glorified 'Skin Swap', not an Asset Flip.

With any Game Template, my modifications are heavy! The Hyper-cinematic Camera System alone transforms the game template into something else. Imagine the additions of unique Monster Design, Weapon Design.

The primary objective is to publish as soon as possible. I save massive time by starting with something playable in multiplayer. This allows me to focus on developing new features. I refuse to waste any time reinventing common (already seen) features.

As you can tell I love to reinvent the wheel and/but most of the times I create brand new wheel by accident lol.

How are you handling melee blade tracing?

that is a wheel of mine( I guess) , lol I handle it by:

1 Do trace from hilt to tip
2 A constant trace that is like a trail that there are like 5 around

And it depends on the game I might use box trace and beh…

Excellent Method. Its been a point of contention for me in performing melee. I elected to use the same projectile subsystem as i do for guns (one system for all). The results are interesting. Think of it as using a rapid fire machine gun from the handle, using the bullets to trace out the path. The other technique is to create a trajectory spline path and move the projectile along it procedurally.
