Low contrast texture in UE

I tried having the texture not gamma-corrected unticking sRGB option in the texture properties but I still can’t get the wanted result. Any suggestion?

Hmm, might have something to do with the lighting. Maybe in max your (default) lighting is somewhat lower. How does the texture looks like?

For whatever reason I’ve had that problem when importing 16bit textures… I change them to 8bit and the problem goes away… I’m sure there’s a way to fix that.

Apparently DrifterGames is right, the problem is related to 16-bit textures only. I switched to 8-bit texture and everything is fine, so I’m gonna stick with 8-bit textures. Thanks!
