Summary
Hello,
I am facing a serious issue with one of my UEFN projects and I hope someone can help or provide guidance.
My local project was lost due to a OneDrive synchronization problem combined with Unreal Revision Control. The files became corrupted and I can no longer open or access the project in UEFN.
However, the island is NOT lost:
- The island is still published (private version)
- I can launch and play it in Fortnite using the island code
- I am the original creator and owner
This means the project data still exists on Epic’s servers, but I have no way to access it in UEFN anymore.
I would like to ask:
- Is it possible to relink an existing island to a new UEFN project?
- Are there any server-side backups or revisions available?
- Is there any way Epic can help recover or restore the project from the published version?
This project represents a very large amount of work and is extremely important to me.
I am willing to provide any information needed (island code, project name, account details).
Thank you very much for your time.
