Hi guys, please tell me why I lost all the materials when I built the model in c4d and imported the materials into ue4, only the basic color was added.
I don’t know the exact reason, but as I see it, the way the materials are created in your software and the way they function in UE are different. E.g. if I create a procedural material in Blender, it won’t be properly exported into UE, since UE doesn’t support Blender nodes.
However, if you bake materials, they should be successfully exported as images. Did you try baking them?
