Summary
Hello,
While archiving my data in UEFN, I was surprised to find that all assets linked to my data layers (such as building structures, props, etc.) were lost. This is a significant issue for my project, and I’m trying to understand what might have caused this loss.
For context, in my editor, the layers were unloaded. Additionally, I use a cinematic device to display the layers, which means that by default, all layers are unloaded during gameplay. I had previously performed backups, and all my data linked to the layers was successfully saved. However, during the most recent archiving process, everything was lost.
Could this issue be related to the layers being unloaded, or is it caused by something else during the archiving process? I would greatly appreciate any explanation or advice on how to prevent this issue from happening in the future.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Steps to Reproduce
- The project already contained several data layers with assets (structures, props).
- I attempted to save my project by archiving it.
- After completing the archiving process, I noticed that all assets were gone.
Expected Result
The assets linked to the layers should have been preserved in the archived project, even if the layers were unloaded at the time of archiving.
Observed Result
All assets linked to the data layers (structures, props) were lost after the archiving process.
