Al cargar de vuelta el proyecto, los spline de rio (river) no afectan al Landscape del mundo a pesar de que este configurado que si lo afecta, ademas si se trata de volver a rehacer el rio desde el principio no soluciona el error
Hey
Check how many Waterbrushes are in your outliner, you should only have 1 per landscape.
This can happen if you have more than 1, because the old one left over from an old landscape will conflict with the new one.
ÂżEn donde puedo comprobar esa herramienta?
Where can I check that tool?
It’s in the Outliner usually down near the Waterzone, I don’t know what the waterbrush would be called in spanish, but if you scroll right down you should find them.
At least one is old and one is for the current landscape, you may be able to toggle visibility to see which one is doing what,
I had more than one Waterbrushes in the project, I deleted the additional Waterbrushes but it didn’t solve the problem
By the way, thanks for helping me with this, I was able to delete landscapes that I was not using and I didn’t know how to delete them
That looks like a really nice layout btw
I wonder whats going on then…
Maybe the yellow triangle ! needs to be fixed first or is it giving you some trouble ?
I also notice the waterzone looks a little funny, like maybe there is also more than 1 waterzone happening,
Thanks!
If I used other water sources, specifically two pools of water at the edges of the waterfall (one upper and one lower) for it to work well, also on the island I included other rivers that are also failing
Every time the project loads or I make changes to the landscape, the yellow triangle appears, which when selected, an “update” button appears, but that does not solve my error
Oh yeah, maybe the water system is struggling to calculate.
I have noticed when a few water systems in an area it causes issues.
When one waterbody is above another, it can causes the one above to not render, but usually noticible in play mode, can get around this by making smaller sections of water instead of a bigger one, but I haven’t tried it with river systems, maybe offset the above and below nodes a bit further apart.
There seem to be Spline sweetspots and sourspots, node positions will affect other waterbodies
Like the ocean, position of the ocean splines can have a big impact on all waters
Have you thought about turning off affects landscape for some bits and manually sculpting the terrain ?
Thank you, @Hardcawcanary
I only turned off the automatic effect on the ocean landscape, so it could blend in well with the island’s terrain, but it never gave me any problems.
I was able to manage to upload an older version of the project into UEFN revision control, which will fix my error for now.
I had tried it before with recent versions and that’s why I ruled out doing this.
Thank you very much for helping me find a solution and for teaching me new tools of the program.
