Summary

Can’t checkout project in Lore.
The project is stopped checking out in revision control since the last update.
rehashing commit: The system cannot find the file specified. (os error 2)

Steps to Reproduce

Every time trying to checkout, it does not.

Expected Result

Successful checkout of the project.

Observed Result

The result is that there is not successful checkout since 06-sep-2026

Could you try the following @mikeonce

  • Close UEFN.
  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to your UEFN project directory
  • Delete the /.lore folder in said directory (backup it first)
  • Start UEFN and open your project
    • Be patient for a bit as the data directory gets rebuilt which can take some time.
  • Try again to commit.

FORT-1155571 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 43.00 and 44.20.
