LogBlackmagicCore: Error channel options are not compatible...

Hi people,

I’ve been using the virtual Production template to try and figure out how Epic set up their VP stuff. I’ve had plenty of experience setting up my cameras and Blackmagic Decklink from a blank slate, but when I try and add the camera to an input (using this template), I get: -

LogBlackmagicCore: Error: The channel options are not compatible with the already defined options for channel ‘4’.

I’m presuming ‘channel ‘4’’ is the SDI input on my Decklink… which is where I normally have my input live feed. I can’t figure out where or what the ‘already defined options’ are. I am also using the Timecode (VITC) and Genlock/Timestep from my camera.

Any help to point me in the right direction would be most appreciated?

No input from decklink card

Hi, I am using Unreal Engine 4.25 and a BlackMagic Decklink Duo 2 card. Using the SDI input, I am trying to get a live videofeed into UE4. When pressing “Request Play Media” in Media Bundle the output log outputs: LogBlackmagicMedia: Error: The video format changed for ‘blackmagicdesign://device1/single0’. * The format in the setup is correct, so I don’t know where the change happens. Anybody got a fix for this?

Blackmagic Decklink Input for Unreal Engine

Did you get it to work? I am having same issue. Working before and then poof one day opened and it doesn’t lol. Seems to be the case with this software.

I honestly can’t remember if I solved it or gave up waiting for an answer? Unfortunately, their templates (whilst useful) aren’t explained with enough depth, and I think Epic are relying on the community to help each other out… which is understandable, considering the number of ways in which it can be used. I hope you found it out.
