Local Coordinates Gradient

Any idea on how to make a vertical gradient that uses the limits of the model size? I don’t have access to the source art so I can’t create a second UV channel in MAX, I know there is a way to do this in the material editor though.

“Object Bounds” is a command in the material editor, then use “BreakOutFloat3Components”, i think that is where you need to start. I don’t know if that answers your question.

BoundingBoxBased_0-1_UVW should be what you need.
